While it is a joy to see the Diaspora reconnect with continental roots, DNA testing for ancestry is kind of deceptive. It can only trace two lines: mother's mother's mother (mitochondrial), or father's father's father (Y-chromosome). Too often we end up in Europe due to widespread rape, or ignoring thousands of Great grandparents. It's just pattern proximity.
Still, it's good to see people excited about reconnecting to Africa. Just go inside and seek your ancestors, the way they did it.

@Sharayai You should get it done! It's great it can teach you something about yourself you never knew. Yes the spanish language actually has some arab, words history in it..

@bajanboy883 that's cool, and no I didn't know Spaniards were mixed with North African; learn something new everyday. You make me want to get one of these test done.
