  • This really need to be translated. This is too important to be left like this. Those who died deserve it.

(The raft was not a life raft, there was a large black rubber ring with water in. There were people who died in it, people who drowned in it.)

Was that a joke, I dont think so.

I know Im late but, rest in peace you who died that day.

  • Too mch swedish talk, i can understand estonian, english and german, but not swedish.

  • @kyostim Yes, 2 Estonian surviviors confessed that they were in the front of the ship and climbed down on the port, and said the port was still sealed shut. They could not see into the car deck. These testimonys have been overlooked since they were estonian and never translated. Never heard. Accident?... Right...

  • I do not find much stories of survivors, is there anywhere more? I was just thinking did anyone see the port missing or did anyone see port still remaining? Seems that the port was there in my mind as captain did not mention that we have lost the port and ship has now troubles with balance.

  • @zeebo296

There was a Nato convoy in the area, preparing for a training exercise in search and rescue that was beginning on the very day the ship went down.

Amongst them was a soviet sub! The nato ships did not respond to the maday !

Furthermore, there was a mock terror exercise on board the estonia the day before it sank ... It is believed soviet weaponry was being transported to the west and the nato ships were there to ensure it crossed the sea.

    The soviets sunk the ship.
