The gearbox is a reconditioned box, it was cleaned, stripped, cleaned again, inspected, worn parts replaced, lubricated & a central oil pickup pipe fitted. The box is a standard 1275 box, but with a 3:4 diff, which is fairly revvy for the 1293. It's a great setup, not quite as quick as I thought it would be, but I'm still running it in. I'll have her DYNO tuned once I have covered another 400mile, along with an oil change etc. Cheers!
