This is Scarlet ( a belly dance troupe) from Malta doing a comedy routine burlesque style to the Austin Powers theme tune. Yes I know its not belly dance, so please don't make comments to that effect. We were asked to dance and perform for a Burlesque night and so it is more of a cabaret / tiny belly dance fusion piece, we are just having fun!

In an age pot-Fosse, with huge production and everything niptucked ; this was fresh air and nostalgia .... I would loved to have been there getting my drink on.. maybe even a cigar ... i might even have worn a suit or eek... a tux?
