Rugby is very much a fringe sport in Canada..Rugby is rarely shown on TV. Ice Hockey and NA football take most potential rugby players. At the youth levels It is only organized in small groups in pockets around the country. It is hard to even play against other teams from different regions (Canada is very big geographically). With few players and fewer chances to play competitively, our national team will go through periods of being more and less competitive.

im not a canada rugby supporter im a tongan rugby and new zealand supporter but what the fuck has happend to the canadian team come on back in the early 00s and in the 90s they were one of the best teams they beat wales they beat france they made it to the quater finals but now they barely make a score of 21 or 14
