  • @lourak No cement needed. the beauty of a mortarless system is it is designed to stack up with out the use of mortar or cement. Concrete is a bit more sturdy than you think. Because of the interlocking nature of the blocks they form their own type of strength. However if you are concerned and want to reinforce the post you can use concrete adhesive to "glue" them together or add reinforcement to taller post by following the instructions we have in our adding strength to posts video.
