MORE INFO:( newborn baby suffering from Harlequin Fetus Syndrome (HFS). HFS is a genetic disease caused by a mutation in the ABCA12 gene. It appears to be transmitted as an autosomal recessive manner. It occurs about once in every 300,000 live births. A baby born with HFS has abnormally thick skin. We have these cases in the states. They are not called children of snakes or anything like that...

@IAMGODSDESIGN The condition is called Harlequin Syndrome or Ichthyosis. But, yeah, you asked a really good, good question. It would be interesting to get an update on the baby. If the kid is still alive, he (or she) is probably four years old by now.
