@iTycho check out the top right corner, on the zerg bar (mineral, gas, control), those numbers you were asking for are the numbers of the control, that means that when you have, e.g. 15 control you should build up another hatchery, and when you have around 18 you should be getting out your queen; control is the equivalent for supply depot (terrans), or psi (protoss)
-
to my mind, ZERG is the worst race for builds, with zergs it ALL depends on your oponent, otherwise, prootoss and terrans can do their builds almost no matter what

@Chisuz Thats the thing about these strategies. You most likely will have to have two differents strategies when going into a game otherwise your left with a weak strategy. Your supposed to be prepared.

I stated a simple fact to your response to the video! Opening builds are determined on:
1. The size of the map.
2. Spawn location of your opponent.
3. Race of your opponent.
4. How aggressive or economic you want to play that particular game.
From that point on every decision is based on viable build comps against what your opponent has, and scouting information you get throughout the game. I have over 70 strat videos for each race, the basics are covered, things are getting specialized.
