@Maestrp37388 Where I am our cable boxes generate the EAS scroll, triggered from the cable head-end, so if you are watching a premium channel or video on demand, you'll still get the EAS scroll.
Since it's a federal mandate cable companies have to follow all there consumer boxes and the mso equipment will trigger on a specific channel (the boxes turn to this channel when ean or eas is issued)

for the ones on TV, do the movie channels and premium stations actually utilize the EAS? For example, was there a national EAS test on HBO today?
