@derbigpr500 Pre-LCI 325i was build with M52B25 engine (at least for European markets).
-
@preeludevtec No... 325i , 330i and 335i in european models are all 3.0 liter engines. There are no 2.5L 6 cyls in european models.
-
All North American 2006 325i have the 3.0L N52B30 engine. European models have the 2.5L N52B25 depending on model year and country.

Well, the EU did get the e90 series 1 year before US and CA.
And the 3.0 litre engine US and CA had till 2007 had the same 251 N m as the 2.5 litre.

Open all 4 windows, and then use kickdown and rev it till 7k rpm, that sounds like a million times better than from inside the car! Just wonderful!
-
@dwainedibbly The USA never had a 2,5 litre engine. The 325i always had a 3.0 litre engine. In europe there was a 2.5 ;)
-
Ok thanks. But just for your info, a bought a 325xi which has a 3.0 litre engine in 2007 so I guess I have the European version.
-
@hihitv you are right, I didn't make any changes. Its stock. EU facelift model. 3.0 liter direct injection
So is there any difference between this 2009 EU 325i and the 2006 e90 325i that was sold in North America and discontinued in 2007?

@dwainedibbly yes there is. The US '06 325i has a 2.5l engine. This '09 EU has the new 3.0l engine.
