Oh yeah, you DEFINITELY need security software for your Macs. Mac OS X Snow Leopard (fully patched) is FAR LESS secure than Windows.

I'd likely recommend giving ESET Cybersecurity for Mac a whirl.... ESET.com
Obscurity through security is not security. It might provide some SAFETY, but that's not the same as security. ;-)
Remember that the average, non savyy Mac user can be fooled by cybercrime attack methods that target the user as the weak point, not the OS, such as phishing attempts.

@metasuperhyper That's pretty much true on all versions of windows to an extent. The only thing I ever see them change is UI and some ram stuff (7 only).

Windows 1.x/2.x/3.x are just shells on top of DOS.. So when you run Windows 3.11 for an example, you are in fact only running MS-DOS and then you have a GUI on top of it. It really isn't much else.
