This is my 3rd video of Phase Zero, however it's my first official review of it.
You can buy this game from myatari.com, but just know it is not a complete game. It's more of a demo of what was to come. That being said, even as a demo, it's one of my favorite Jaguar games of all time.

  • hi mate, so when you bought this what did you actually get? just a burnt CD Rom? or was it an actual retail package? Is the game complete in your opinion? I see SongBird have the demo listed for sale at $60 (sod that for a demo!) but I want the whole game if at all possible. I emailed the company you mentioned, will see what happens I guess

  • @Antonyv1982 This is what I have... the demo. The complete game has not been found, nor do I believe it was ever truly finished, but it may have been :-)

In any case, all the stuff you see in my videos is found in the demo listed on Songbird's site. There's actually quite a bit to do, so I think it's worth it.

I bought it as a loose copy from MyAtari, I believe, and have since designed my own box for it ;-)

  • Thx for the review...until now i only saw some photos, but after that video,i HAVE to get that game!

  • @Gunh3d1 It's an amazing feat. It is, however, unfinished, but really there's quite a bit there.

  • look at those graphics man

someones got to port battlezone (1998 version) to jaguar with slightly less detail it could handle it.

  • thanks for the information about commander blood

  • They are voxels. Voxels are sweet.

  • Commander Blood ended up on the PC. There's also a company called Songbird that releases old Jaguar prototypes, if that's any help.

  • Actually, it's essentially a copy of Rescue on Fractalus, which was released for the old Atari and Commodore computers back in 1985. Except that Rescue on Fractalus was way better.

  • looks like voxels
