From 1986. When I first saw this, I thought the teacher's name was Mr. Essence. Jim Henson sure loved performing those purple Anything Muppets.

  • 2:04 Ivy Austin, right?

  • What's so bad about his design?

  • But there is one problem, Roosevelt Franklin disappeared when Matt Robinson (1st Gordon) left the show in 1972.

  • lol, there's pictures of Grover everywhere

  • this should be rosivelt franklin

  • This is hands down the best voice Jim ever used for the show. wish he did more sketches talking like this

  • Yup, I recognize the voice all right--very similar to the one Jim used for Guy Smiley. The teacher Muppet looks pretty badly designed, though; I wonder how many kids got freaked out?

  • Isn't that her?

  • he should be live hand

  • I see several fingerpaint pictures of Grover on the walls.
