Nikita Alex - Reflections in the Car

Sums up S1 in celebration and anticipation of Season 2. Till then, Alex is certainly in Nikita's heart. This is about Nikita's thoughts and reflections of her bittersweet relationship with Alex while riding away in the car at the very end of Season 1.

Slow at 1st, picks up soon together with the song. Epic coloring at 3.40.

To me it's very much like Nikita is a worried mother, awaiting her rebellious daughter's return, after she wronged her and cause her to run from home.

Song is Celtic Woman's Alex Sharpe's amazing rendition of "You'll Be In My Heart". Which I don't own the IP rights to, nor over CW's Nikita S1 footage. Purely fanvidding.

This vid's for my mum and dad, who loves me even more than Nikita loves Alex. BEAT THAT! :)

P.S.: I understand why some people say Nikita and Alex is very much like Buffy and Faith. I mean, just compare this summary right here and my other vid of Buffy and Faith's arc in season 3:

The betrayal, bittersweetness is kinda the same. But I still think they are very very different relationships. For one, Buffy and Faith were always equals, almost like twins. While Nikita was always the older sister, or even the mother bear, towards Alex.

But it's funny, comparing the two arcs with these two fanvids. Love them amazing characters.
