  • This is the first time I have ever used YouTube for any purpose besides entertainment. It quickly became evident that YouTube is a difficult format to convey a systematic linear stream of information. Even though this might be pestering, YouTube has succeeded in its underlaying goal; to engage the viewer and trap them in the countless links that flash before ones eyes when you watch a video. After going through the playlist, minor distractions aside, I found myself surfing for another hour.

  • One thing that certainly supports your position--that YouTube is disorganized and not all that it can be--is the fact that I'm not sure if this is where I'm supposed to leave a comment for our first assignment. Assuming it is, however, I will say that my limited experience with YouTube leaves me feeling the same way as you; it's a fascinating concept, but it could be made much more functional. By the end of this sentence, I will be at the maximum character count, which is quite frustrating.

  • You Tube is difficult for a formatted class because there are so many other things to distract you. I have watched videos on Commandante Marcos Cornel West, and others but on my own time. For example I watched about half of this videos until I noticed a half naked women in your related videos column, I clicked on it while forgetting I was watching this for my academic value. Girl in the club has nothing to do with this, and this and other things make You Tube a hard learning enviroment.- Latham
