Vince Young High School

Very interesting highlights. Vince Young thrown long accurate bombs in high school. But Jeff Fisher won't let him throw anything but short passes in the NFL! You can't say Vince doesn't have a strong arm, he was throwing 70 yard bombs in High School. If anything his arm is stronger now. What's up with that?

And for the person saying Pryor is going to be better than Vince, you don't know football. Vince played his high school ball in the great football state of Texas. Which everyone knows is one of the best high school football states. He also played in the Big 12 conference which is far more superior than the weak Big 10.

@leanaway VY was 6'4 by the time he was a SOPH in HS. He was 6'5 as a FROSH at UT. He weighed 220 lbs when he went into UT and left at 235 lbs.

@fooloof Just remember for every Vince Young there's a Peyton Hillis. For every Nate Robinson there's a Jacob Tucker. For every Serge Ibaka there's a Chris Andersen. Have a good day.

@fooloof I'm white for the most part (Armenian & German with a lot of Cherokee) yet I have a higher vertical then every single black in my school . But by your logic there should at least be one on team's African-American gene pool with the natural ability to jump as high or higher then me, but there isn't. Hardwork plays a huge role in developing your athleticism.
-
@fooloof Clearly it's based on socio-economic reasons (which explains black prevalence in only two sports) and discipline/hard work. Keep in mind Michael Jordan, who many glorify as the most athletic basketball player ever, struggled to dunk for most of his life but worked hard to do so. I highly doubt that there are a 100 blacks for every Gerhart. Do you realize how many NFL-level white running backs with the same athleticism exist, but are rotting up in D-2 and D-3 colleges?

@Walnut8711: actually, that's exactly how science works. Any statement, finding, thesis or conclusion, must be supported by facts.
I am not saying there are ZERO whites who are genetically gifted, but the number pales in comparison to blacks. For every Toby Gerhart, there are probably 100 blacks who are stronger and faster, but who may not have his work ethic/knowledge of the game, etc. I don't have anymore time for this, but will read ur final response, if you have one...

NFL BUST!!!

I'd say it's a little early for that. Also, do NFL bust usually win Rookie of the Year awards?

He's like an Adrian Peterson who can throw. It's almost unfair for a high school to have him.

You should have seen AD in high school.
