Sheila E needs to be inducted to the RR hall of Fame. She is a versatile female drummer and composer and it is time for her to be recognized and honored.

Sheila E. does play other instruments (guitar both bass and electric, the piano/keyboards, and the violin) but she is strictly known as a percussionist.

I'm a Prince fan but I always refer to Sheila E. as the one who survived him. So many of his proteges got washed away into obscurity but her talent carried her through into legendary status. Long live Ms. E.!

Always have loved Sheila's work, but have to agree with other's posts, this is poor choice of music...like a death dirge instead of an upbeat celebration...I was a bit shocked at first asI thought she had died or something.
