This is a band organ I have been putting back together. It has been in pieces for a long time and some of the pieces were missing. I bought it that way. I have just now gotten it back to playing. It stills need a lot of tuning. If you would like to see the Carousel I use it on Serch Carousel State Fair of Texas,Dallas.
See you at the Fair in October.

  • I meet Don a couple of times at some carnival conventions. Love his work.

  • Thank You.

  • Yes you can stop the trumpets, it is for tuning. but you can play the organ without the trumpets on.

  • The entire organ is out of tune. I posted this video while I was still working on the organ. Go to the other videos I have posted lately to here the organ after I tuned it.

  • Do you know Don STinson and his work?? In particular the JerryBetts66 organ? I was Jerry's neighbor for years and he always spoke so kindly of Don Stinson and all the work he did on carousel band organs, so, I know a lot of work goes into rehabing those wonderful old pieces of art

  • @kerry5101971 I meant progress... now time for bed.

  • People have no respect for the hard work that went into making both the band organ & even the player roll, if it doesn't sound like a muted mp3 or CD, people will complain about the tuning. Sheesh. Thanks for sharing your works in porgress & the 'finished' tunes too.

  • This is the coolest thing i've ever seen.

  • @opus1280 I did.

  • Are you "in the mood" for the North tonawnada band organ?

  • beautiful - thanks so much

  • Wow! That represents a lot of work, in spite of the tuning! It seems to be in remarkably good shape!
