@cnocell7 they are simple planes with mask shapes to create the different pieces, then animated. The blue beam connecting each node is actually the lightning effect with everything turned down.

A nice showcase of what can be accomplished in Hit film! Perhaps once it becomes more noticed and utilized throughout the vfx community I will invest in my own copy of the program. sweet work :)

I liked it. A piece of advise, the characters are..too robotic, like the reaction of the woman when he appears from the wall is almost like if she was expecting it, and the soldiers who attacked as if they were robots. I know this is not the most important thing in the short, but those little details are what will make it perfect the next time.

@snait1707 Thanks for the feedback! We do always wish we had more time to rehearse and work with the cast on projects like this. As you say, it isn't the top priority in this kind of project but it's definitely something we'd like to improve on in future.
