@Ravagefrenzy79 its just a sign someone was holding up at one of the games (i met olaf kolzig at the 2011 capitals comvention and he was asked that during a seminar) but i assume the other stuff has something to do with it. and he is really tall

Olie got the nickname Godzilla back in his AHL days, because he always had a bit of a temper and was know to go into fits of rage sometimes.

Olie got that particular nickname when he was playing in the AHL for the Rochester Americans. Because he's a big guy and was known to go into fits of rage sometimes. Like this video.
As a lifelong Capitals fan, no player will ever be as beloved, including Ovechkin, like Olie the Goalie. Retire his # Washington.
