Loquat is a text-to-speech program with a command line interface. From Friday to Monday I decided to do a big push towards a rough user interface. The result was this soundboard, which loads a voice (.lqv) and map (.ygg) file, making each string of the map into a button that plays the sample that it maps to. The audio clipping is not a recording artifact.
The CLI, Loquat v.0 pre-α, was last published July 2010 for Mac OS 10.5 & 10.6. It's still needed to convert text to speech and create the files used by this soundboard.
