I couldn't find any videos by Mark Rippetoe on the matter but your series of videos for the power clean is awesome. Thanks :)
-
You just saved me money on a personal trainer let alone finding a personal trainer on how to do this. THANK YOU!.
-
Sick video !
-
@vex123 Your bringing it back wrong. your supposed to let it hang not like hang on your hands, it's supposed to be on your fingers and at right across the collar bone and shoulders.
-
My wrists are very stiff, which sometimes makes it hard to hold the bar up. Anyone else have this problem?
-
Perfect video , because many ppl are missing the correct techniques for these exercises .
And probably the best on YouTube !
-
why the jump? my wrists dont bend like that
-
Nice one dude!

I'm 13 dope-free and my max powerclean is 360lbs at 201lbs of solid power
-
I was searching for powerclean videos for an hour because I just started them and I just don't get the form. My friends can do more but my squat DL and bench are better than theirs. This is by far the best powerclean video, really informative and insightful. Thanks a lot man.

Power cleans don't have any overhead, it just ends at the clean position. Think your thinking of "Clean & Jerk"
-
It's a ton easier for me to learn the hang clean so I can get a feel where the "jumping position" is.
-
Ive always done them off the ground. Is a hang clean easier, is that why you should learn doing them that way?
-
Great technique. this guy has it down perfectly. That is definitely the best way to learn power cleans, progressing from hang cleans mid thigh, to below the knee and then so on. starting with the hang position really teaches you to get that explosive fast power right from the start, since you need to generate more power faster since the bar is moving a shorter distance since its not coming from the floor.
-
excellent teaching, please do more vids
-
the overhead bit you are thinking about is either a jerk or a snatch. Doesn't really have any thing to do with with teaching power cleans
-
Found these quite interesting where is the final overhead bit? did I miss it ? I have mostly done powerlifting and some bodybuilding and am interested in learning more about these lifts to add variety to my training
-
Thanks for suggestion! I will post something for Olympic Snatch and Power Snatch at a later time! Thanks for watching!
Thanks bud these videos are nice.
