This particular video is my tribute to the greatest pop artist of our time. I am so deeply saddened by the passing of Michael Jackson because for me, I have grown up loving Michael Jackson's music. The beat, the dancing, the words all have deeply impacted not only my writing and other creative venues, but also the way that I view music and life in general.
What many people do not know and remember all the time is how much of a humanitarian Michael was and much his music made strives for peace and good will for all people.
He was able to give his music a message that the whole world could hear, even though most of the time we did not stop to listen. The press tore Michael a part and criticized most aspects of his personal life without looking toward the great and powerful good that this man had inside of him.
Watching his memorial and seeing and hearing about the lives that have been changed forever because of this singular individual touched me to the very core. Every person that talked about him said the same thing, that he was a bright, gifted, gentle hearted, giving, loving man that put others needs always before his own and gave some much to the world.
Though he is now gone, I hope that maybe people can begin to understand the truly giving and loving persona that he had.
He was a genius and will live forever in my heart and in the hearts of every person who felt a connection to his life and music.

I, and millions of other people like me will miss you Michael, and though you are gone I hope we remember the message and the great legacy that you left behind.

It might be lame to say because I never knew him...but I have been feeling like there is a hole inside me. I felt connected with him through music and because of his ability to do good in this world and make a statement against the horrors of this world. The more that I learn about his life, the more I realize how much he was Victimized by the press, and more importantly....from us....just because he was different and thought differently.

I think that was what finally killed him.

I choose to remember him for the humanitarian that he was and I will do my best to be more like him in the sense that I will reach out against prejudice and will help those in need in whatever way I can.

Its not fair. I loved the memorial because they spoke the truth and brought up the good in him. I never dissed micheal ppl would b like y u have him on ur mp3. idc i always loved MJ regardless. its a shame how ppl finally notice how good he was..
