Portland police uncover psychedelic mushroom grow

Portland police raided a home at 4511 N.E. Alberta St., Monday morning. In the basement, they found about 300 jars used to grow psychedelic mushrooms. Officers took a man and a woman into custody.

@seeare008 Whadda ya mean drugs are bad?? Each person should choose their own way of living. If they want to "destroy their lives" as some put it, they should not be stopped. Its their life to live as they please. I just don't see why some people think there is a divine mandate to "help" everyone who does not think their way. This lady is a perfect example of this.

@Psilocybong420 I agree. But the idea of in-vitro is to increase potency. Just like aborts and small fruits have higher active content than their larger brethren by weight. Basically it's forcing large aborts. Hoping for higher potency but if they were to do it in a F.C. they would have a large luscious bumper crop to boast in stead of a few funky aborts.

@lcbreezyl Actually the mushrooms have created a symbiotic realationship with us humans based on psilocybin. Mushrooms need us and we need them. They enlighten us, and expand our minds, but they also ask: "what's in it for us?" The mushrooms provides us with insight and we ensure their continuous survival as a species by growing them and spreading their spores, sometimes even around the world. Sound like a good, smooth and fair deal to me.
