I can't really blame her on this one. If you were a prisoner, wouldn't you say anything to get out sooner? Rebiya knows how to talk to her audience. Look at how she plays up Islam to a Muslim audience, then plays it down in favour of an anti-Communist stance to an American audience, instead. She rallies the pan-Turkic movement abroad, but speaks little of it in Europe. She can cry at the right times, and laugh and joke at the right times. She's an intelligent woman, but I don't fault her for it.
