It's the responsibility of those intact to educate others about the healthy and normal state of the penis.

  • @Cas77b You seem obsessed with this notion of "cleaning it". That was clearly drilled so hard into your head and why either you or your children (or both) were sexually mutilated. The sad truth is that it's a non-issue. There's no more complexity to cleaning this part of your body than cleaning your belly, face, ears, or nose. It's a lie that has been used to validate this weird ritual based in religion and sexual oppression. I hope one day you're able to see it for what it truly is.

  • @Cas77b Cutting the foreskin off shouldn't be an option. Even in the absurd scenario where circumcision was actually proven to prevent HIV, it's not an ethical option. It never was. It should never have been instituted in the first place. But never mind all that. This HIV lie is the straw that broke the camel's back. The anti-circ movement is becoming main stream, and rightfully so.

  • Thank you for this very informative video.

  • I was circumcised as a baby...what can i do?

  • @Cas77b In regards to Africa, this is a gross exploitation of these people to validate the practice on such a deep and disturbing level, it shows the extent that people like yourself will go to justify it. We're well aware the CDC still holds that male genital mutilation is ethical. We're well aware of the proposed "science" to prove circumcision reduces HIV. The emphasis on circumcision in Africa is rooted in preserving medical justification, and the data is flawed. It's a goof.

  • @gamerchamp4000 Google “circumcision and CDC” and “circumcision and Bono” circumcision is official aid policy to Africa. This has always been a health issue that is why it has been done for over 4,000 years. We have a 60 trillion dollar infrastructure to bring water to everyone. Africa is not going to become like Europe. Neither are we if we don’t teach clean it first.

  • DC-SIGN cells are also venerable to some fungal attacks, so the question is are they more susceptible to HIV when these cells have micro fungal infections. In other words someone may have no sign that they have an opening to HIV through DC-SIGN cells.

  • @TheYellowtulip Google “BMJ 2000;320:1592-1594 ( 10 June )”

    “Langerhans cells Wikapedia”

    “DC-SIGN cells Wikapedia”

I noticed this debate for decades and after over twenty years and over 40 studies circumcision is only now being adopted as international HIV policy. How many of the 50 million could have been saved?

  • Circumcising will yield a 60% protection from HIV for hetero sexual men. Although transportation through the foreskin is certain via DC-SIGN in Cells, transmission may be a mater of exposure time so “clean it or cut it” should be “cut it and clean it“. The chances of a urethra exposure multiply less likely to result in infection, but not unthinkable for both cut and uncut.

  • I meant to say less disease than USA.
