This was my pole climb test. As in, this was after I had been hired for a week. I did maybe three or four attempts at climbing before this. And I took off my line because that was what I was supposed to do in the test.

To pass the test to sign off on our pole climbing you have to climb 7 poles up and down, go over the mssger 360 come down in 30 min. Hang 3 stretches of nez.. All the poles were diff, ones is beat to shit, next a fn hard as nails green pole. Takes allot of practice. I am no speed demon at it but I do enjoy it. I respect the people that can do it well. There is always something to learn from the exp climbers.Climbed one today,30' to 1st mssger, over to second to cut in at term.Nice view lol

I love how lineman talk like they are on the top of the food chain lol. i used to be a lineman and now make double the money as a telecom IT manager for U.P and do almost nothing everyday... and i still can speed climb a 40 in around 25 second
