in March of this year? If so probably not, I imagine you signed a two year contract with at&t to get the phone. Do you know how much you paid for the 3G?
-
"That is what AT&T employees do. They just don't understand that people want MMS and tethering so they tilt their heads. Sort of like when dogs do when you make a puzzling sound."
-
What happens if I bought iPhone 3G on March, will I be eligible for the iPhone 3GS upgrade?
pls reply

Thats what we did with iPhone 3G last summer and what were doing with iPhone 3G S now. Remember, we didnt offer a subsidized price for the original iPhone in 2007 (customers paid the retail price), which is why we could offer these customers the lower, subsidized cost just one year later. The device subsidy model is used by most U.S. wireless providers.

We know some people have questions about our prices and upgrade policy. Check out new FAQs (See video description for link). Like most wireless providers, AT&T pays manufacturers for devices. When customers sign up for contracts, AT&T offers them lower subsidized prices on their devices. This way, customers can get new devices like iPhone 3G S for a much lower upfront cost while AT&T recoups the cost of devices during the contract term.
