Neil deGrasse Tyson lectured at the University of Texas at Arlington, as part of their Maverick Speakers series. In this clip, he tests the effect of gravity on items of different mass (a boot and a credit card).

  • @tpstrat14 There was another video where it became more clear. Your approach is more like Richard Dawkins. "Science is cool, and if you don't agree you can fuck off." /quote.

Neil is a lot more interested in educating people, being the Host of the show NOVA and soon to be the host of the remake of Cosmos. He wants people to understand the more basic stuff, and seeing science in action. Think Bill Nye's layman's terms with a hint of Stephen Hawking.

  • Awesomr choice of boots!

  • @Muaguana Just trying to create a more likely chance in finding someone that can answer me is all. No problem with that...

  • @tpstrat14 Why do you go from video to video posting the EXACT SAME DAMN COMMENT? Come up with something original on your next spam post or go fuck yourself, you creatively bankrupt cunt.

  • @tpstrat14 from that i gather you don't read his books.

  • @tpstrat14 Wait.. this is not "real" physics?

  • @lightitupfool please tell me you're trying to be funny...

  • WHY do people like this guy SOO much??? The first video I watched of Tyson was him explaining black holes. It was very informing. Since then, it has gone down hill fast. The more videos I watch, the more it seems like all he's interested in is resurrecting superstition in order to kill it again. Why not just let it die and educate people on real physics? Let people believe whatever superstitions they want to, Tyson. Let it go. Don't waste your mind on this stuff. You only fuel the fire....

  • Gravity is still a theory smart guy.

  • problem is, all this talk about angels "leaving heaven" isn't in the Bible. It can be found in John Milton's Paradise Lost, a 17th century poem written by Englishman John Milton.
