***PLEASE READ***
I very much appreciate anyone who has watched this video and enjoyed it. As I've said before in other video comments, I make these purely for my own enjoyment and if anyone else sees them and enjoys them then I'm happy. The comments that have continued on this video however have me completely dumbfounded. This movie is based on a graphic novel or comic book if you prefer, and has NO BASIS in realism and never intended to it was purely for entertainment, as is the video I made from it's footage. I would appreciate it if argument of racism or realism were taken elsewhere. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy, if not, then I'm sorry you've wasted your time.




There were some nice visuals in this movie even if it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. The first bit of music is some Native American pipes on a meditation cd a friend gave me. The second is Pompeii by ES Posthumas.

i own this movie and they say outright, in the extra footage and interviews, that movie is based off of a fictitious graphic novel, not on fact, and many elements of the movie like the viking's armour was overly exagerated to get a more artistic and dramatic feel..........

people, stop comparing the movie to real historical events and facts........it's a work of FICTION based off a work of FICTION.........just enjoy the movie for the good story and awesome acting and leave it at that...........

@cjcool91 Don't want to insult or anything, but your people were pretty much primitive tribal people with many people but all scattered through tribes, so destroying the native Americans wouldn't be hard for anybody, although the vikings never really fought the native Americans, and were on rather good terms.

The only reason the vikings pretty much went away, was not because they were driven away, but rather because nobody really wanted to start a massive colonization.
