Typhoon Sinlaku Hammers Taiwan - Storm Chaser Video

I travelled to Ilan in northeastern Taiwan with storm chaser Geoff Mackley to intercept typhoon Sinlaku. The intense northern eyewall passed right over us in the middle of the night on 13th September 2008 where we documented winds up to 130mph and blinding rain.

That was the overhead powerline of the railway line shorting as they were pounded by debris and wind/rain.
