That people turn to this man for answers is just evidence for the ignorance regarding their own religion and the world at large that far too many muslims seem to suffer under.
He is not a professional, he is not a scholar, and he is by no means an accredited expert within any scientific field. He is an orator that twists words to his fitting for the best crowd-appeal effect, and he has been banned from entry into many countries for his comments in support/praise of violent islamists.
