Faust is a German experimental Krautrock band.
("faust" is German for "fist")
The Group was formed in 1971, original members was, Werner "Zappi" Diermaier, Hans Joachim Irmler, Arnulf Meifert, Jean-Hervé Péron, Rudolf Sosna and Gunter Wüsthoff.
Faust broke up in 1975 after Virgin had rejected their fifth album.
In 1990 Irmler, Diermaier and Péron reunited. Faust now exists in two completely different incarnations, both active and each reflecting different aspects of the original group.
Uwe Nettelbeck, Faust's creator and producer, died 17 January 2007.

@abducteddonut Skip that bullshit. I'm not angry but come on. People with a good ear may find this good. But something else completly mindblowing. And someone with a good ear can completly love this too. No one can be the best listener because everyone is in diferent statets. You can hate music and love this :P - btw I really love this music. Just saying. I have have no problem with people who dislike stuff that I like.

I actually worked this out (part 2 about 1:40) in about 1977 and have played it regularly on classical guitar. - E and Am

this is a super rola, and also all faust is very very good and very interesting.
i have almost every thing from them.....faust......since the 70's 2010's
