I am Christian, i have been walking with Christ for about 6 months now.

Im gay, recently my church leaders found out. I always prayed to God, that the day they found out, they wouldn't judge me. God knows my heart, nobody else would ever know me as much as he does. God guided me to this specific church for a purpose, and what's awesome is that they love me the same way. I read my bible daily, and i am still me..but guided by God. (: . Thank you God!!! For the longest time I've been feeling confused about my faith. There's so much negativity floating about and so many conflicting opinions about being gay and catholic. We, as one denomination, are the largest group of people that has ever walked this rock. No matter what the half million consecrated say we are - at the end of 2011 - almost two billion people. No matter what our scriptures, our elder, our neighbours say, we will always remain the largest group of people: gays, straight, left- / right-handed, guitar-players, gardeners, truckers, scientists, food allergics - you name it. @peakoil76 The Bible condemns homosexual ACTS as in sexual acts with a person of the same sex. It does not however condemn attraction to a person of the same sex. Same sex relationships as a Catholic are expected to be similar to heterosexual relationships of people who are unmarried. They can show their affections, but cannot act on it sexually.

When I hear your plan for confession, to try to hide your real confession between other less personal sins, and then when confession starts, blurt out the real reason for why you are there, seems to me there is some' Irish Blood' somewhere in your ancestry, you may not be aware of it, but Irish Catholicism travels down the generations and serves you well as it did on that day
