and there is no reason why anyone should make you feel unhappy....you have as much claim to this world as anyone else.

i agree...everyone has their own imperfect perception of God...oh btw, watch my video on gays; i think you'll like it.

we are deducing it from taking into account the elements which shaped the writings: time period, historical events at the time, common knowledge and practices of the time etc. we do not look at it as if the people are living in america in 2008. Jesus told us that when we care for each other, we are caring for him. When we offer the hungry food, we are serving Him and the Father. Therefore, all that we do in which we mean well, we do in His name.

What reasoning are we deducing this explanation from? Religion is a reflection of a person's beliefs which is what will determine the outcome= eternal life. If my religion is simply to be happy and make others happy--while I will have great intentions and will do good deeds, I am not doing this in God's name and for Him to be praised or glorified. Ultimately, it is those who believe Jesus came to die for our sins and have accepted Him & His teachings will be in heaven.

We cannot decide who goes and who doesn't. God makes that decision; however, we can deduce from reasoning that God will not condemn someone because of their religion. Only God knows people's true intention and that is what counts. If someone does something good, but does it for selfish purposes, God knows. If one does something wrong, but had good intentions, He knows too. Only He is privy to this knowledge and only He can judge.

so, in that case, everyone will be in heaven. right?
explain how pple will go to hell.

did i say it was impossible to convert? no....in fact, i specified that it is possible...but i also said it is highly unlikely...which it is. like i said, it's like asking someone who has been a white supremacist for his or her entire life to go against everything he or she has stood for...impossible? no....likely? no

also, as i explained in the video, it's all fine and dandy for you just to say that non-christians choose to turn away fom God...what do you expect muslim parents to do? raise their kid a christian? what do you expect that kid to do when he is raised muslim and someday has kids? raise those kids as christian? that is like asking a 70 year old skinhead to hug a black woman....ain't gonna happen
That's exactly my argument against people like Angela regarding Christianity.
For crying out loud... during the great plagues of Egypt he took all of the 1st born sons!
So yeah.. another place where God killed children.

plague of the first born sounds like jewish propaganda against the egyptians...i have nothing against jews, but there is a lot of jewish bias in the bible. all those who oppose the jews are portrayed as evil and against God.
