[ENGLISH]
Digital Fader is a swArt piece consisting in a transition effect (graphics or video). The idea is to covering the Time1 "frame/screen" with an increasing number of squares in a pixel fashion. Two are the basic technics. The first covers the whole frame/screen with one color (black in the hereby example). The (Time2) second one, consists in let the target frame/screen emerge from the square/pixels.
The pixel/square positioning was random, in the original SW.
The algorithm has been adopted, throughout the years by the main graphical and videos editors as a basic tool.
The variation adopted by many of these editors consists in using a pseudorandom positioning of the pixel/squares.
