  • Does airborne accept candidates from all the branches or just army?

  • @cabrame ur so full of it

  • @PimpSlapNoJutsu don't know what the washout rate is but it's a 3 week course if your able to pass your pft, and your not afraid of jumping from high places your pretty much set to go to airborne school. obviously like everything else in the army it's best to push your limits pt wise just so you'll be able to focus on the jumping.LOTS OF PT if you follow instructions, use those instructions, and trust that your rigger packed the chute correctly you'll be fine.

  • how difficukt is airborne training what is the washout rate and what are the most difficult parts of the training?

  • Class of '81 44th Co., then on to Ft. Bragg, NC.

  • We are AIRBORNE!!! is the saying if you earn your wings! :-)

    Delta Company Class of '95

  • I remember running everywhere, even to the chow hall , then doing pullups, then pushups at that corner, run more, repeat lol. Every day. Everyones knees/ACL's were screwed up. Other than that it was a pretty laxxed school, though you couldn't sham out on Anything or you get recycled at the drop of a black hat!

  • @dtrem1976 1 Panther is the worst battalion I was in. Dirt bags.

  • 1/319th AFAR

  • @SPQRsamurai117 nope
