I don't think it makes any sense to consider such evil beings to have the same intrinsic worth as individuals who're of a benign nature. If the quality of a being is negative and tends only towards the negative then, by definition, they are inherently *less* than worthless =/

@twcjr44 Thank you very much for your time Dr. Campbell. Am I correct in my understanding that the idler photon is 'erased' before it is recorded by any collector? Where does the idler "go" when it is erased? How can we know that (a) the process of recording the idle photon is not disrupting the wave property and (b) the delayed choice is experiment is valid when dealing with entangled pairs? After all, isn't the pattern only observed after the idler is either recorded or "erased"?

Following "Youngs Double Slit Experiment (How to do it at home)" -> laser beam .5mm slits in tin foil using scapel. 1) One slit confirms light behaving like a waveform on par with liquid waveforms. 2) 2nd slit light behaving like a waveform with primary and secondary cancellations. Result: Confirmed light behaves like a waveform. Next: to confirm Tom's theory: will require cathode ray tube accelerator and a means to measure & record photon entering slits - would a 16mhz microchip do the job?

The explanation of the double-slit experiment Tom brings forth holds up to logic. If the information that data can change "magically" of its own accord is true.. you can no longer interpret reality according to current scientific precepts. The photon accelerators found in cathode ray tubes in old tv sets and oscilloscopes can be used to verify this right? Does anybody have information on how to replicate this experiment?
very interesting. one queastion to tom ...
if time is constant (i dont believe it by the way) how do you explain interstellar travel through the milky way? do you believe that their speed is limited by the speed of light being constant?
then it would take a long time to get here !

@thetransformationnow.
Consciousness can travel from place to place throughout galaxy in an instant, while virtual matter ("physical mass") from within this virtual reality (our universe), is limited to travel at something less than c (speed of light) as it moves within the virtual reality because c is as fast as virtual information can "physically" travel through that virtual "physical" reality. Yes, virtual beings are limited to c within their virtual reality.

Dr. Campbell I have a question, when the photons are collected in collectors 1 and 2, are they recorded in the coincident counter the same way as when the photons are collected from collectors 3 and 4? In which step of the collection process are the results erased?
Thanks in advance,
J

@bofumytofu,
Yes they are. "Wichway" information is lost (erased) when signals reach th beam splitting mirrors that preceed dectors 1 and 2.

Discreet electrons passing through the double-slit barrier and creating an interference pattern in and of itself is bizarre enough. Is it not a hasty leap to call that a "probability distribution"? What about it is "probable?" Seems like discreet chunks would probably show us two target points, not a wave pattern. Wouldn't calling it a "probability distribution" forcing a false premise to work your way backwards on? What is the definition of "probable" in this context?

@marce11o,
Bohr, heisenberg, Schrodinger ant the rest simply assumed out of thin air a probability distribution because that was the only assumption that logically (mathematically) worked (i.e., enabled them to predict experimental outcomes correctly. MBT logically derives that assumption from the mechanics of how the virtual reality works.
