Note to Maggie: Yes, "be not afraid" is an oft repeated phrase in the Bible. But the most important message that the Bible preaches (if you ignore the radical contradictions and brutality that makes up the parts of the bible that right wingers like to ignore) is love. Something that your organization is literally fighting against. NOM has this new thing where THEY are the victims because they're criticized for their views. It's an organization of lying, delusional cowards, plain and simple.

I don't get the argument that gays (or anyone else) who defend against their oppressors should be seen as 'intolerant bigots.' NOM isn't fighting for a viewpoint, they are fighting against the freedoms of others. A supremacist group, basically.
If you don't like gay marriage, then fine ... don't get gay married. It's something entirely different though to say that everyone else has to so the same.
