What if it's just that a theists way of knowing IS through religion, so they assume it's the same for us atheists? I think we each assume that everyone else is mostly like us, so it's really easy to totally miscommunicate when the differences are so profound.

I aways ask them which supernatural entity that i am supposed to be worshipping. They can't respond with Dawkins or Darwin or even Me as these are mere mortals, (although i am naturally super), so they are then forced into claiming that i worship Satan. I then have to point out that there is no credible evidence for any supernatural being and Satan is no exception.
