Too often, churches in our day focus our attention on Christian experiences rather than Christ. In the process these bodies have emphasized the subjective over the objective, personal testimonies over historical facts, and self-centered spirituality over Biblical Christianity. On this edition of the White Horse Inn, the hosts discuss "experience-centered belief" as they continue their series, "Christless Christianity."

  • Thank you so much for posting the White Horse Inn videos/audios!

  • Thank you! You are absolutely right. The letter of the law, with out the Spirit drives people away from our Fathers tender mercies. We are called to holiness, faith, & love ~ not nitpicking judgement. There is One Judge; We are not to be judge, jury, & executioner. God bless you. I'll be checking out your channel.

  • I haven't read the comment you are replying to as it seems to have been deleted but I agree with your sentiment entirely. It's the fire and brimstone which turns most people off religion and I honestly dont believe that that was what Jesus was about, quite the opposite, he used to judge those who judged others. In the Garden is a beautiful song and I hope to cover it soon on my channel.

  • Your absolutely ridiculous; To tear apart a beautiful worship song which speaks of personal relationship & love of Christ. Not everything in Christs kingdom has to be hard & judgemental. God's grace & mercy draw us to thank Him for being with us in those quite moments alone with the lover of our souls. Go get a job.

  • Around 7:40, the speaker begins talking about the summation of Americans in previous centuries, namely that we need no books, for we can find our purpose entirely within ourselves.

It's interesting to note that foundational belief architecture yielding what we have today in this nation. The roots were already planted at that time, and we are witnessing the first commercial yields of that fruit in this century.

Love your messages. Keep up the strong witness. God bless you. Peace.
