Multi-track version of Led Zeppelin's calypso rock classic. All done on ukulele except bass line and "percussion" done on standard six string acoustic. I had a hard time getting all of the video to sync with the audio, but it came out pretty OK, I guess.

  • were you in the Crusaders? Couldnt help but notice your shirt said "Boston Horns"...couldn't read the read. Sorry if I'm wrong. By the way - THIS IS EPIC! Exactly what I was looking for. I support fellow musicians. Superb :D

  • @usualsuspecttiff3

Hi- no, "Boston Horns" is funk/jazz TOP type band from the Boston area. Check it out if you are interested- I am the guitar player in the band. Thanks for the comments.

  • that was pretty sexy....wut did u improvise the solo on?

  • @dumbassproducers2

Sorry to take so long to get back to you- I only check this account every now and then... as far as improv goes- the chords are C Am F G, so pretty much major pentatonic, occasionally bluesing it up with minor pent, mixolydian, and chromaticism. As always- a hodge-podge of 12 different notes. Is that what you are asking?

  • ELECTRIC UKE :O BADASS COVER BRO!!!!! Do you have the tabs and chords for uke? I can find guitar but uke is so damn hard to find!

  • Sorry no tabs- I pretty much just improvised this- laid down the background tracks and just played the melody and variations off the cuff...

  • Fuck :O *_*

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! <3

    Ayyy

  • This fucking rules. Led Zeppelin translate to the uke so nicely, great cover.

  • WOW! super rad, honestly... thanks for bringing this back in such a killer way! cheers! :)

  • ...'Loved it! Very 'cheeky' version. More please. :-R

  • Very nice. May I inquire: this appears to be a tenor uke. Which tuning are you using? And what is the brand of the uke -- the headstock is a little out of focus in most shots.

Are you playing in Boston anytime soon?

  • NICE!

  • that one person is a jealous douche.

  • this was awesome
