And anybody can appreciate how Chris & Chris gave each other props after that battle ended. Taking you back to a time when that actually happened. Hudlin made "House Party" as a suburban-urban (and I STILL do not know where the first movie was based! Ohio, right?) teen good time. But I'm old enough now to remember when brothers would battle each other out here at the train stations! Not fuckin' Penn Station, but in Brooklyn--at Atlantic Avenue (L) & The Junction (B'way Junction)--and Queens.

"Kid won"
"kid won that"
Yeah, I still say Kid took that one. (The "Step to the stage--too late/I blew it up!" line--2:44--is classic! But Play didn't have to get on him with the hair (1:47) and the curfew (2:05) shit. That was fucked-up! Lol!) I like to know many fun rhyme battles those two had back then when the cameras weren't rolling. Just for fun and practice and to bounce ideas off of each other. They were always more about the dance, anyway. Which was good. At least back then.
