In stark contrast to the trillion-dollar, massive government takeover of health care that would increase premiums for families and small businesses, Minnesota Congressman John Kline at the White House health care summit outlined a commonsense plan to reduce health care costs for small businesses.
Also, what about letting individuals have the same access and perks to insurance as large business? I don't see why a large company (or Union), consisting of a certain number of people, has more discounts, incentives and options than one single person.
I personally have a high-deductible savings account and am very pleased with it. I don't know why the President won't consider that. It seems to work for people who are responsible enough to put their own money away for medical costs.

Don't you think that both parties are at fault? It isn't just one or the other. As for your "childish" comment, what part of the Republicans' proposal or group of ideas is childish? I guess I wasn't old enough for the Clinton era of legislative ideas, so I wasn't aware of any plan of his. What do you suppose the best solution is? Your comments are encouraged as I am curious.
Thanks.

john kline says that republicans have proposed allowing small businesses to pool together to buy insurance at lower rates.. this idea is the same thing that the clinton administration was trying to do in its healthcare reform.. how come when a democrat proposes intelligent healthcare reform, it is "government-takeover", but when republicans promote the exact same idea, it supposedly is "good government"? republicans are childish, playing games, as america continues down the path to destruction..
