  • I have a very old John deere 1032. The chute will rotate fine to a point but then it just stops. I have to wiggle it to get it to turn any farther. It always gets stuck at the same angle. Any ideas?

  • @ERAZ1981 check the gear adjustment at the bottom of the chute and make sure it is well lubricated

  • Hi I have a Craftman 28inches 2 stage snow blower..works very good..except the control arm is rubbing against the valve cover.when you crank to turn the chute ,.a paint is coming off where its rubbing against the valve cover. .and the valve cover got metal rubbing off..i bought 3yrs home in service. wonder if they will do anything.for me...I work night and have no time to call them yet...any suggestion? thanks in advance.

  • i think that would be covered. i have a craftsman in my shop and i'll look to see if it's the same

  • you may be able to adjust it from the handle bars

  • What's your opinion on snowblower non-stick chute spray? For example, Ariens has something called "Sno-Jet", and Toro has "T-150". They are supposed to stop

    slush from plugging the chute.

  • I'D LIKE TO TRY THAT STUFF

  • @sandmanJB no. it hasn't snowed this year for me to use it yet though.

  • @chapel976 Did you ever get an answer to this? my chute continuously spins

  • how do you handle a snowblower chute that won't stay? my Ariens ST724 doesn't have those big grooves. so what happens is if I want it to stay in a certain position and the handle is UP, it will eventually fall DOWN and the chute will move

  • all your stuff is so good! ive fixed everything just by watching your vids. my snow blower is jumping from 1st gear to reverse.........any ideas what i can check? thanks
