Great scene great movie! Delves right into the heart of Americas drug war, crime and punishment, and the brutal reality of the drug trade. Discounting all the moralistic BS about right and wrong, the bottom line is always about money. And cops and law enforcement are just as dishonest, corrupt and ruthless as the people they supposed protect us from.

@Hellblazer311 respect, how would it look if he just goth is than stepped out? He'd look like a puss. Also, he took care of his town. He couldn't just turn his back on them. He was a criminal but he still had a sense of honor.

Denzel shows histrionics and Crowe is subtle, but Crowe wins. Two great actors- best scene in the film
