  • Saw them at De Montfort Hall, Leicester around 1970. They were excellent and extremely loud! Stan Webb came down off the stage and played brilliant long solos wandering all around the hall, at the end of a 200 yard flex. Good times back then.

  • I love this music so much

  • @Etonite : But her voice is integral to the sound, you must admit.

  • It wasn't actually Christine's Chicken Shack. The band are still playing and, musically, are better than ever. Stan is so vastly under-rated.

  • I saw Stan ,Christine an the lads many times in Wolverhampton, Kingswinford and Dudley in the late '60's and early '70's and they were unforgettable nights, my favourite album........40 Blue Fingers Freshly Packed and Ready to Serve of course

  • this song helps me understand great transition from blues to great sound of early 70's softer rock initaly by Kirwan and later by Bob Welch , what in final efect turns Christine into greatest songwrier and singer of all times best selling album like Rumors and following . Thanks for posting !

  • I must say I do enjoy the 12 bar blues!
