THIN MINTS FOR LIFE
-
@finishstrongdoc First of all, i think you know nothing about kids. Kids have a natural gift to understand things in their pure simplicity without all the added ballast that adults make because they are confused. Therefore children are much more accepting than adults. Secondary, contrary to what you are saying, i think they should be able to make these decisions themselves. It teaches them to think for themselves and responsibility for making such decisions.

@originalperloocko I know this is shocking advice, but I'm only considering what Sir Francis Galton wrote in his unpublished manuscript, "Kantsaywhere" as the best model to handle these types of situations. You do believe in Darwin, yes? And evolution, too, I assume. Maybe it's bad advice, but Darwin read it, and never said he advised against it. Your problem would would be with Social Darwinism, then, and not me. You should read Darwin & Galton; you might be surprised. Tolerance, Diversity.

@arieschick420 ditto

@finishstrongdoc I can't believe i'm reading this. Yes, kids are vulnerable but what you are saying is basically that LGBT people are danger to them and there should put themselves away. Whaaaat? I just can't wrap my head around this. You got things wrong. The only danger for any kid would be you imposing your really stupid ideas on them. Can you even imagine a transgendered kid and you telling them what you just wrote here? You should be ashamed >:(

@arieschick420 I'm sorry if u understood me to say that society should put any group away. I was suggesting LGBT's voluntarily separate themselves from the most vulnerable of our society, children,& form their own cities,counties, etc. I think a country as large as the US could tolerate that, & accept the gayworld,& interact or not as they saw fit. Francis Galton, a noted British thinker& cousin of Darwin,suggested as much in his unpublished manuscript "Kantsaywhere"; u believe in Darwin, yes?

@finishstrongdoc You're right. There is a difference between tolerance and acceptance. Like right now, I am tolerating you because I think you are basically saying that gay, lesbian, transgender, etc... should basically be put away somewhere and hidden from the rest of the world and I disagree. I think people like you need to find a hiding place somewhere because you can't learn to get along with the rest of the world that actually wants to impact society in a positive way.

@originalperloocko This is so true. I get sick and tired of people not giving kids the credit that they deserve. Kids understand more than some adults think they do. They also have the ability to see things that we don't see as adults. It's the adults in their life that impact their decision making abilities. If you are close-minded chances are high that your kid will be too. That's why it is important that we teach them acceptance not tolerance.

@finishstrongdoc ...finally , tolerance is different than acceptance. I could tolerate a separate homosexual city, like San Francisco, or even a whole state...Utah is mostly Mormon, and they used to have problem being "normal" so they made their separate state. I think it would be the best way for LGBT's to leave a positive impact on the world. After all, the only way humans even have a past,present or future is through heterosexual intercourse & traditional marriage.
-
@finishstrongdoc ...the positive impacts LGBT's could have on society would then have what the military calls a "force multiplier." I can't deny the positive impact gays men & women have had on society, but it IS "different" from the norm, and little gils & boys don'y get that,& the danger of a demographic meltdown is increased by having a wole culture blindly accepting the abnormal as normal. There will always be a "difference", and you can't kill gender difference, but it can be wounded.

@buckangelent Buck, sorry, but if you don't like my feedback, you have every right to ignore me, too. I'm sorry the culture doesn't understand what those who have same-sex attraction, or feel trapped in the wrong gender body, are going through. But most kids are just...normal...but can be easily swayed; the human brain doesn't mature until age 25. I may sound to you like a bigot, but just as many would have Christians stay out of things, I think gays should live separately & enjoy themselves.

Thing is though, these little girls don't have a way to make an informed choice about "Who's who" yet,so the parents & secondary authorities should just let these confusing things they'll have to deal with later in life just stay there. I hope you don't think I'm a hater for saying this Buck, but there must be a place where you could have gone to keep little girls from having to think about this rare type of life you have. Girls want to be moms some day & this just confuses them.

@finishstrongdoc oh please are you kidding me!!! Kids are so smart and Moms are too. I have had nothing but positive feedback from many Moms regarding this. It is a problem with society. I had a very rough time many places in life and girl scouts was one of the places I felt safe. It's my story not yours if you don't like it then don't watch-But I will make a positive impact on the world.
