@AmericanNohbuddy So did salt in the roman times, that's actually where the word salary gets it's name, because roman soldiers would get a salt ration as a portion of their wages.

I would rather have gold then paper notes that represent value but actually have none themselves, it can work if governments are trustworthy but governments are notoriously criminal when they get to much power. And actually come to think of it the fed is not even ran by the government so that makes it even worse!

@kcdw73 Gold is not to buy things in stores, its a way to keep down inflation. Cause the inflation will one day destroy the dollar, and that will not be pretty.

@TrueTone500 in the old days gold used to be used as money untill the Fed Reserve and Elites took it and instead produces pieces of paper. Do you know when paper currency was first introduced?

@95TurboSol same everything was better when people traded in gold coins essentially what centeral banks do is steal the gold and create money out of thin air that is loaned to the goverment and banks they are master criminals.
