The set of Countdown wasn't 'that' big..of course it's mimed..The Church were not 'anti-social'..they just didn't get caught up in their own 'hype'..They just wanted to play their Music, nothing wrong with that..A really nice group of guys..truly..I loved seeing them 'Live' and I saw them a lot..never got bored..Maybe SK is just shy???..LOL..:).I was at this 'gig' for Countdown..pretending to be a Tree..it was pretty funny..so many little kids..

It ain't live. It was mimed. Such was the way back then. The Church are still a great band.

I remember this (mimed) performance from way back in 1982! Steve Kilbey was just as antisocial then as he is now. Love him! Love the Church!

Their last chance to take-off in maintsream radio Australia was probably this song, and it didn't. They had one more hit 5 years later with Milky Way, but still underground in the growing alt-scene they were cool throughout.
